Based on his Twitter feed, RHP Ty Hensley made his second start in Extended Spring Training today. No word on how it went, but as long as he’s healthy, I don’t really care about the results.

- C Austin Romine: 3-4, 2 R, 1 HR, 4 RBI — every once in a while he’ll do this to remind you he’s still only 25 and was pretty well regarded
- RHP Shane Greene: 6.2 IP, 5 H, 2 R, 2 ER, 2 BB, 6 K, 13/1 GB/FB — 62 of 99 pitches were strikes (63%) … there we go, that’s the Shane Greene we saw last season
- RHP Danny Burawa: 2.1 IP, 3 H, 1 R, 1 ER, 0 BB, 3 K, 3/1 GB/FB — 25 of 41 pitches were strikes (61%)

- 3B Tyler Austin: 2-4, 2 K, 2 E (fielding, throwing) — still waiting for the power to show up, which might not happen for a while given the wrist problems

- 2B Rob Refsnyder: 2-3, 1 R, 1 3B, 1 RBI — 18-for-37 (.486) with five doubles, two triples, and two homers in his last nine games … dude is absolutely on fire

High-A Tampa was rained out. They’re going to play a doubleheader tomorrow.
Low-A Charleston (8-4 loss to Asheville)
- RF Aaron Judge: 2-4, 1 R, 1 2B, 1 HR, 4 RBI — sixth homer of the year … seems like he’s off to a slow start power-wise, but he’s still on pace to hit about 17 homers or so

- LHP Ian Clarkin: 5 IP, 6 H, 3 R, 3 ER, 1 BB, 7 K, 1/7 GB/FB — 51 of 75 pitches were strikes (68%) … 29/7 K/BB in 57.2 innings
The Dominican Summer League season started today. Here is the box score for the DSL Yanks1, but the DSL Yanks2 box score isn’t up yet. Here’s the scoreboard for whenever it shows up. Based on who is on the rosters, OF Leonardo Molina will debut in the Rookie Gulf Coast League next month. The 16-year-old signed for $1.4M last summer.
